Comprehensive Event Technology Delivery for the Finnish Red Cross General Assembly in Rovaniemi

The Finnish Red Cross General Assembly is the organisation’s highest decision-making body and convenes every three years. In 2026, the General Assembly was held on 6–7 June at Lappia Hall in Rovaniemi, bringing together hundreds of members and representatives from across Finland.

The programme was delivered bilingually in Finnish and Swedish. During the General Assembly, the Finnish Red Cross adopted its new strategic policy and elected its representatives for the following three-year term.

The Finnish Red Cross General Assembly required event technology across several simultaneous spaces: the main assembly hall, restaurant area, lobby and basement theatre.

The bilingual programme placed specific requirements on presentation and simultaneous interpretation technology, while the meeting materials also needed to be delivered clearly to remote participants via live streaming.

Wolttigroup held the main production responsibility for the event and was looking for a technical partner with experience in demanding, content-driven meetings and the capability to take overall responsibility for the technical delivery from planning through dismantling.

We worked as the event’s technical supplier under Wolttigroup, covering the technical production from planning through dismantling. Our ten-person production team was responsible for the event technology across all spaces:

3 × LED screens (3.5 m × 2 m, P2.6 pixel pitch) in the main hall
3 × 55″ confidence monitors for the chairpersons
Video matrix system for managing complex video routing
Separate presentation computers for Finnish- and Swedish-language content, each with a parallel computer for real-time changes
Three-camera multi-camera production and live streaming
Simultaneous interpretation technology for Finnish and Swedish
Gooseneck microphones for the chairpersons and wireless microphones for the audience
Sound reinforcement system in the restaurant area, with video and audio feeds from the main assembly hall
LED screen in the lobby

In addition to the General Assembly, we delivered the evening event at Kesäravintola Valdemar during the same weekend, including sound, lighting and band technology.
