Because the event had such a high profile, the technical delivery had to be exceptionally reliable. The programme was varied and included speeches, music and video. The event also had to be livestreamed on the OYS website.
The technical producer had to take a proactive approach and stay flexible during production planning. The venue was new to everyone, and part of the programme only took its final shape during the preparation process.
